Better than my Nirecore - great for mixing e-liquid!

For steeping and blending e-juice. I love the increased blending speed and temperature options it has over my Nitecore. You will need either a laser thermometer or a thermometer that can be attached to the included stand as there is no digital readout for the temperature. I settled on a very reasonably priced laser thermometer that I bought here at Revain. So far it's been great!

Then I went halfway between maximum and minimum, that is, almost all the way to the right, and got 225-235 F. I loved the smell coming off the panels at that temperature. It's definitely chemical gas poisoning. I scrolled to the max to see how hot it is. When it hit 300…

My main issue with this unit is the method by which the temperature is set. I am familiar with the common designs used to control the power of heaters, lamps and other resistive loads, having designed them myself. This has the same problem as many inexpensive dimmers: you can't set the temperature (or intensity) below a certain point. Starting from OFF, turning the knob does nothing until a certain point, then it suddenly starts working and after that the heat/intensity can be fine tuned. From…
