Two stroke engines can run backwards if not synchronized with the stator. It looks like this product is connected incorrectly and my bike starts backwards!

I can only see the ignition coil not the entire stator assembly. The ignition coil works great with some modifications on the QT50. My 1984 Yamaha QT50 had the ignition coil removed. After a long search I bought this item to replace the ignition coil. I unsoldered the ignition coil from this stator, flipped it over and soldered it to my original stator.
