Disgusting, not happy with the purchase.

I was seduced and ordered, although in many reviews a similar problem is described. Really Chinese filter. Maybe it's not bad, but I don't want to check it on my car. If it weren’t for ’s action, I would have returned 1000%, otherwise there’s no point in returning, just wasting time. Perfect fit for spares

Made for my application and fits as expected. The packaging was the reason for the 4 star rating. Dirty and boxes were broken. I made sure to blow off the dust and dirt before installing.

Easily removed with pliers

Very similar to a Mann filter. The only thing to watch out for is that the threaded ring sometimes gets left behind when removing the filter. It's easy enough to remove with pliers, but it would be nice if they fixed it better.

Five stars, made in Austria, heavy steel can, non-return valve keeps oil in the filter.

Very nice filter. Fits well and "feels" German on my MKV GTI. Update: I have the 5th filter. I love it. It has what is called a "check valve” which is NOT a check valve. This thing actually blocks the oil in the filter and keeps the oil in the filter when the engine isn't running. That is hard! They are MUCH BETTER than Napa Gold. This thing has metal guts. If you drive a sports car, don't be fooled. Buy the best. The glass is very thick, ideal for high pressure. I brought this filter to Napa…
