Review on 🔧 Enhanced MAHLE Original OC 456 Oil Filter by Corey Bigglesworth

Very nice filter. Fits well and "feels" German on my MKV GTI. Update: I have the 5th filter. I love it. It has what is called a "check valve” which is NOT a check valve. This thing actually blocks the oil in the filter and keeps the oil in the filter when the engine isn't running. That is hard! They are MUCH BETTER than Napa Gold. This thing has metal guts. If you drive a sports car, don't be fooled. Buy the best. The glass is very thick, ideal for high pressure. I brought this filter to Napa last week and we compared Napa Gold to this Mahle. It was a fun review, side by side they look strikingly alike. Obviously, Mahle is much harder when you feel both. Only with a flashlight and a look inside you can see a striking difference. plastic and metal components. If you want a good filter, buy Mahle. I found another comparable filter, Mobile1 M1-404A in a pinch, but I still think Mahle is better. Made in Austria.
