Nothing like the photo. Rather a small tree trunk than beautiful branches. Should have read the fine print that says every prize is unique. We were just hoping for something closer to the picture.

Don't advertise reptile wood if what you really mean isn't even fit for a tarantula. What a waste and a scam! leaving my corps far behind and paying too much for a stick!

Impressive piece for my 46 gallon aquarium. I boiled it 3 times for 5-6 hours as directed, changing the water each time. It was still floating, so I tied a 5 ounce fishing weight to it and buried it in the ground. The end product looks great.

The piece I received was a bit small and didn't look like the picture. Not very impressed, mainly because of the high price. Update: They sent me the second part in response to my review and it was a bit larger with some branching but not as good as the picture. Although I give them credit for trying.

Personally I'm disappointed it wasn't more unique despite limited expectations. The bottom turned almost black after cooking and the other side just turned brown. Because it is difficult to see the details of what appears to be burnt wood, there are limited opportunities for demonstration. If I had seen this in a store I would not have bought it at this price.

Ugh! I really wanted to like it because I paid so much for it, but I actually feel cheated. I wanted to increase the height of my fish tank and it doesn't even look pretty. Not to mention the work done! I boiled this sucker 5 times in 3 days and it still floated because it's too small. I had to balance the stone on it to keep it down. Not worth the time and effort for the price.
