Description of MakerBeam Bearings Bolts Self Locking

MakerBeam bearings bring free linear movement into your design. Bag consists of bearings (10x), M3 12mm bolts (10x), M3 nuts (10x), M3 self locking nuts (10x). Bearings are 5mm thick. The outside dimension is 13mm, the inside diameter measures 3mm. Fitted to a beam, it will extend about 1.5mm from the edge of the beam. The 3mm inner diameter makes it easy to mount on an M3 bolt. I used regular nuts and when you tighten them they haven't loosened yet. I'll probably replace them with locknuts later when the project is complete. I wouldn't recommend using lock nuts until you've installed them because they really should be disposable. Again, the puck is key. If it didn't separate the bearing…

Pros
  • MakerBeam bearings allow free linear movement in your design
Cons
  • Legacy model
