Disappointing Waterproof Gaskets for Electrical Boxes

As a DIY enthusiast who regularly buys Tools and Home Improvement products I was unimpressed with this product`s performance. As a result of my tests, I determined that these gaskets were not truly waterproof and failed to prevent moisture infiltration. The only positive was that they were easy to install .However, the negative outweighs the positive. i would not recommend THESE gaskets for anyone looking for a truly waterproof solution for their electrical boxes..

Not quite as advertised

Basically a very good product at a good price but they advertise a minimum clearance of 6mm and in reality they only get close to 7mm which was a bit of a problem in my case. I definitely recommend these for use with a slightly larger cable.
