Description of Makita B 43315 Hollow Socket 12 Inch

Streamlines Overhead Fastening Applications. 12 point socket provides easy fitment over 6 and 12-point fasteners. Additional socket length provides better accessibility to nuts in hard to reach places. Axial press-fit 1/4" hex shank provides greater durability and torsional strength compared to a one-piece hollow socket. Smooth, chamfered inner well prevents shaft from biting and ruining threads for easy fastening and unfastening

Great tool. fits power tools and hand tools

Great product that I use every day at work. If you do construction work and work with a threaded rod, this tool is a must. The only thing I don't like is that it's a bit expensive.

Pros
  • Ceiling mount made easy
Cons
  • Little things

Socket for Unistrut and 3/8 " rod

will save you a lot of time. The length I have is perfect if all heights of rods fit, although adjustments need to be made at any time, the longer versions of these sockets really save you that headache of not having to screw them in because your regular square drive bits aren't deep enough install in the rack channel.

Pros
  • 12 point socket allows for easy installation of 6 and 12 point mounts
Cons
  • Not the best option

Good workmanship, fits power tools and hand tools

Sick tool. Without a magnet, but still. Much easier to use and have one wrench/ratchet than two wrenches/ratchets. Also, I have them smaller and they just don't break. Even years of use. If I had a request I would keep increasing the sizes! 5/8"(15/16") would be cool!

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • No instructions

Essential for Cell Phone Workers

Essential for anyone working in the cell tower industry. Tightens hex nuts on solid threaded rod much faster than turning with fingers. If your job is to make block/full thread props then this is what you should try. Much lighter than I expected which is fine as it's strong enough to get the job done but doesn't make an already heavy tool bag any worse.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

Base for Unistrut and 3/8 " Rod

If you are an installer using a 3/8" threaded rod to hang a Unistrut, these bases will save you a lot of time. The length I have is perfect when all bar heights match, although adjustments always need to be made, the longer versions of these hollow bushings will really save you that headache. These bits really give you latitude in the length of your cuts when throwing in hexes and locknuts without having to screw them in as your regular square shank bits aren't deep enough. In addition, you…

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
