My 30+ year old B&D grinder is dead for good. I only use the grinder occasionally for specific projects like finishing raw wood furniture or crafting . Today I tried out my new Makita for the first time and finished two maple sticks that I made from a piece of maple that I had to chop down. I use precut 3M sandpaper. Need to replace my trusty old B&D random orbit sander that has died. There is no comparable replacement from B&D. I found this Makita at Revain and while the Makita has a reputation for quality I have become suspicious of almost every power tool available today as they all appear to be foreign made.
