doesn't heat me up for power tool parts

I wish I'd read all the reviews before wasting my time. Hello Makita! what's wrong with you? Why sell such an INFINITE product? Don't buy this thinking it will warm you up. Pooh

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons

Another review advises you not to buy this

Heats up very little. The indicator light on the switch gave off more heat than the entire blanket. Nice blanket if you can find one for $20. Not worth anymore. I'm surprised Makita called it her name.

Pros
  • trial for a year
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

That's bad, don't buy it.

This duvet has electric heating for only a quarter the duvet size of most duvets. Makita threw the ball on it and the 109. The price is just no, it's not worth the money.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Reliability

This was the worst product I have ever received from Revain!

This duvet does not work. When it gets warm, it's only in a small spot. I sent it back because for $100 I could get an electric blanket elsewhere that would work 100% better.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Mostly useless for power tool parts and accessories

Mostly useless. The whole blanket doesn't heat up, just a small area in the middle. A 5 amp battery lasts a long time, but only because it almost does not heat up. Incredibly impractical with a heavy battery tucked away in a side pocket. Only works as a foot warmer under many thick blankets.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Fits

Heating surface too small

I know he shows the heating surface on the website but I seem to have missed it. The actual size of the heated area is very small, about the size of a small heating pad. I'm not sure what the rest of the blanket is for. Why call it an electric blanket when it's nothing more than a heating pad? Got it because I have Makita tools and thought it would be nice to have an electric blanket that connects to the Makita 18 volt battery hopefully giving it longer day/night runs. The high temperature is…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Hardly warms a small part of the duvet - Grade 1 - that's generous

Let's start with the fact that the part of the ceiling that actually heats up is 15% - see image with heated area highlighted. Also, calling it a "heated blanket" is a joke. In my living room, which was already 70°, the tiny heating surface of the ceiling could barely reach 94° after 40 minutes. Compared to the heated vest I have, the vest reaches 117° in less than 10 minutes. Makita should be able to reach at least this temperature. The duvet itself is great. Weight with battery is very large.

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
