DO NOT BUY. PERIOD! - Brad Nailers

As a contractor and in the industry for 30 years, I USE AND LOVE MAKITA, but this one AND his Pinner pistol ABSOLUTELY SHORT! I have tons of Makita cordless tools but these guns are a BIG ROCK AND SHIPPING for Makita! Poorly thought out design, terribly unbalanced, often wedged. misfires often. The Allen key on the side fell off because the little plastic holders broke off, because obviously you can't store this gun with anything else or it will break! The plastic tip fell off and was lostโ€ฆ

I work with a large carpentry company that is installing the carpentry for the new 4 Seasons Hotel. I needed this gun to work long hours. I needed this tool to be reliable in a high pressure situation. But for the past few weeks, he's been letting me down constantly. Just today I'm installing baseboardsโ€ฆ

After the tool was shipped to me, I tested it with 1 1/4" rod on both softwood and hardwood. I made sure the depth setting was as deep as possible before beginning, then started with one piece Doug's Fir On this piece of softwood the tool worked as directed, driving each nail to the
