This grinder does a good job. I hate planing, so I just use my grinder as a planer (yes, I know that's the wrong way). This grinder allows me to do just that. The only problem is excessive vibration. The battery is excellent and it is good that there is a spare battery in the kit. I bet 4 instead of 5 because of the vibration. It is too much.

I bought this because we were working on a painting project where I was moving up and down several (4) levels of scaffolding, sanding wood paneling and window sills and I was tired of wrestling with the cord. This works great with a full 5Ah battery, maybe an hour then it starts to fall off. I used this to renovate a beautiful wooden patio bench. It worked. I didn't intend to get a perfect finish but maybe if I keep progressing I could. First I scraped off the old paint and varnish with a metal tool and a stiff wire brush. This is a very portable tool and I bought it for outdoor use.
