I needed to install 2 J-Blocks into existing vinyl fairings. Since the base of the J-Block is attached to the wall of the house behind the siding, I had to undo the siding to gain access. Used to replace two pieces of a damaged vinyl ceiling that has been used as decorative trim. I couldn't have done the job without it, but it broke at the pivot as soon as I finished installing the last spare section.
