Malleable Industrial Standard Threaded AUTHENTIC Review

Did not meet my expectations. They don't screw in all the way like 2pcs. Other brands. Everything left marks on the hands. NAILS AND ANCHORS NOT included. It sucks In my photos I will compare these two brands. Obviously the better ones are already drilled into the wall.

These cast iron floor flanges are cheaper than the ones you can find at your local supermarket but the quality is questionable. I bought 2 packs (20 pieces) and almost half were filled wrong. This resulted in the nipples not being plumb with the base of my project. Some had full bladders. I had to go to Lowes to get 4 flanges to complete my project. Now I don't know what to do with the remaining 8 crooked flanges. I would not buy again.

At first glance I was impressed with the quality but upon final assembly of my project I quickly found that the bases of most of the floor flanges I received with my order were anything but flat. It's as if they've jumped out of their still-too-hot cast and part of the flange has deformed. I spent too much time mixing and matching these flanges to get the same elevation legs for the stereo stand I was building. However, the threads were well cut.

Towel rail, toilet paper holder and towel hook for 2 bathrooms. I took pipes, elbows, and 2 inch nipples from Home Depot's plumbing department and twisted them together. I then painted them stainless steel black and attached them to the walls with dowels. I was lucky enough to hit the studs on about 30% of the holes. Very happy with this purchase as I saved about 60% compared to buying flanges from big stores. Made in China but also in local shops.

It was a little cheaper than buying it in the store. I wish I had just spent a little more and bought there. Typical Chinese quality pot made of metal. Some of them were deformed and unusable. I built a table out of canes and used them as leg supports. I had to choose what to use because some of them were warped and not flat. There was enough of it to get the job done, but throwing some away was wasteful. You're paying for 10, not an X pack that's actually usable. I was in a dilemma and needed…

I was looking for flanges at a good price for the manufacture of industrial furniture. Home Depot sells similar ones for $4.95, Supply House for $3.12. Both are made in China, which doesn't bother me, but I didn't want to see any stamps on the front. Also US made flanges like Ward sell for $6.95 which was too expensive for my project. Pipe Decor flanges are made in China but are stamped on the back so they are not visible when screwed in. Also, buying a 10-pack costs just over $2 per flange…

Was a bit skeptical after reading some of the one star reviews that said the flange base warped. All ten arrived in perfect condition. The base was as flat as anything I've bought at hardware stores. The threads look fine, but it would be nice to have a 3/8" NPT tap on hand in case the threads seem a little rough. They are made of commercial iron and not steel. So when you remove protective oil, you start to rust within minutes. If your project is going to be painted, simply spray them down…
