Versatile, secure and easy to use surfboard and SUP racks

These racks securely hold surfboards and SUPs on a variety of vehicles. I have used them to transport longboards and SUPs on Toyota Corolla, Dodge Charger and Ford Focus for hours of trips to the beach with no problems. Their convenience makes them worthy of a travel package. I recently put her in a duffel bag and sent her to Maui for a week surfing and SUP surfing. They were very easy to put on and take off many times a day and could be used with almost any rental car. Easily carry boardsโ€ฆ

Good but not great.

We have two surfboards. My husband has a huge barge and I have an achievement board. We installed a Thule stand on our Forrester, but we didn't want to keep using an old yoga mat to blast it apart and not hurt each other. We originally bought this kit just for the spacers. It was a very affordable solution. When our car had an accident we had a rental car but still wanted to use our boards while the car was in the shop. Only as a last resort.

Does the job, although overpriced for what it is. I've used this a few times on a roofless car and quickly discovered the following things: - It's really inconvenient and awkward to use this way and just not practical for frequent use. Especially if you are small/weak and putting the board back in place it's quite difficult - if you're careful not to knock the blocks too far off the board then things get harder. (I'm an average height woman, medium sedan, with a pretty average bulge, withโ€ฆ
