Misses the mark in a couple of places

I purchased this backpack as a replacement for the Werner bag I've used since 2006 (wore the first one out after 11 years; second one in great shape). My needs have changed; smaller laptop, no longer a road-warrior so decided to find something for just back and forth to work. I'm pretty happy with this once I figured out what to no longer carry on a daily basis. Here are my wishes for this bag. Inside the main compartment I wish it had a mesh bag at the top. There is around 4" of wasted space…

Pros
  • Durable material ensures longevity and withstands wear and tear
Cons
  • The backpack's shoulder straps may not be adjustable to fit different body types

An Excellent Choice for a Compact Bag

The Mancro laptop backpack is an excellent choice for those who need a compact, but very versatile backpack that has a modest and stylish look.I have made two groups of various criteria to review the backpack on.1. general criteria of the backpack versus possible competition.2. claims/strengths the producer of the backpack has made.Note: I am reviewing the "02-Black” color backpack as listed on Best Buy.General Backpack CriteriaValue: At $30 the Mancro bag is excellently priced for comfortable,

Pros
  • USB charging port allows for convenient charging on-the-go
Cons
  • The backpack may be too heavy to carry comfortably

Perfect for me. except for one thing.

I'm a professional flutist, and wanted a backpack that looked nice, fit my flute/piccolo/music folder/flute stand + the stuff usually in my purse, and a water bottle. all without weighing a ton. I was looking at bags that cost 3x as much, but I liked this sleek design better. (I think that I could fit all of the above + a slim laptop as well, but for now I'm not using the laptop sleeve.)The grey bag struck me as a bit lighter in color than the photos, but it still looks nice. It's very well…

Day pack, not yet used

I bought this product to use as a day pack for some upcoming trips. It appears well made and should suit my purposes just fine. Regarding some of the negative reviews I read; the RFID pocket is Not designed for your phone. Do not take the water repellency of this or any product for granted. I sprayed mine with a good water repellant spray as a safe guard. I appreciate the features. It seems well constructed and well padded as well as light weight. The 4 stars are only because I’ve not put it to

Pros
  • Comfortable padding on back and shoulder straps make for comfortable wear
Cons
  • The backpack may not have enough ventilation to prevent sweaty backs

I use this for school

I love this backpack. My only issue is the pocket for pens is too deep. I have some of my markers in there. Sometimes it's hard to dig for them because there is also a pocket in front of that which I have some medicine. This makes it harder to dig for the right markers or pens. Other than that this is the best bag I have owned.

Pros
  • USB Port Design: USB charger outside and cable inside, provide an easy way for charging. Wherever or whenever you go, you can charge your phone, Kindle or any other electronic device while you are walking and traveling
Cons
  • The grey color can easily show stains and dirt

The black is starting to fade off

I’ve had this backpack for about 4 months. I’m a case worker so I carry a 1 inch folder plus a 11’ laptop with a laptop glove. These two items alone barely fit. I also carry a small planner with me and it’s very tough to fit, I usually carry it rather than stuffing anymore in the back pack. The middle pocket holds my laptop charger and pens and paper clips, mind you they are pushed forward from the binder and laptop in the main pocket. Everything fits way too tight. It has a good amount of…

Pros
  • Can be utilized as a daily backpack or for travelling purposes
Cons
  • The backpack's compartments may not be big enough to fit larger items

Better spending 100 dollars for a small bag

So I need a smaller commuter bag for traveling to school that could hold my notebooks and thin laptop. When I first got this bag, I'm like this looks very small than what I used to. This bag fits 3 notebooks (five-star 3 subject advance, 2 one subject spiral notebooks, calc.etc), a Yoga 720 13inch, and a lab coat. This bag felt great will all the items in my bag. However I took one star for 2 reasons: 1) there isn't anywhere that I notice you can place your battery pack, I fear to put it along…

Pros
  • Ideal for college students with plenty of space to carry textbooks, stationary, and personal belongings
Cons
  • The backpack's material may attract pet hair or lint

Lightweight in my review

I am just using the backpack for the first time on a trip. My use is mostly for my 15" MacbookPro, computer accessories, miscellaneous items. I only put things in it that I wanted with me on my flight. I also didn't want to carry a lot of weight or stroll a carry-on along with my dog stroller onto the plane. The arm slings are very comfortably padded as is the back of the pack. I have lower back and cervical spine issues so wasn't sure how comfortable the back pack would be so I'm pleased that…

Pros
  • Water-resistant material keeps belongings dry in light rain
Cons
  • The backpack may not be suitable for outdoor adventures

Nice backpack best in my review

Bought this just for general use as I thought it would be better for taking my laptop back and forth to work than the old briefcase style carrier I had. I've only had it a week so far but am very happy with the backpack. Holds my laptop, of course, and all the other paraphernalia I may want to carry. Looks like it will work well for day trips as there is room for a change of clothes as well. Time will tell how it holds up, but I like it a lot so far.

Pros
  • Lightweight design makes it easy to carry around
Cons
  • The backpack may not have a dedicated laptop sleeve

More than I expected

I always have my laptop, charger, mouse, mouse pad, other cables, and water tumbler in this thing. I think it's perfect for 15-inch laptops. Best Bang for Buck!I have 1 minor gripe with it but it's of my own fault. I didn't know that the Acer Predator Helios 300 was a little bit too big for this bag. My laptop fits but i dont like how it is exactly fitted inside, with the laptop frame bulging when you close the bag. However, a 17-inch would be too big in my opinion so I didn't bother changing…

Pros
  • Spacious interior can hold a 17.3 inch laptop and all your necessary accessories, making it perfect for trips and daily commutes
Cons
  • The backpack's design may not be fashionable or trendy enough for some users

Hey Mikey! She likes it!

I love the backpack only flaw is the side pocket buttons broke off in the first week. But I don’t use them anyways Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Anti-theft design provides peace of mind and keeps belongings secure
Cons
  • The backpack's zippers may not have a locking mechanism, which can be a security concern
