FRAGILE 26 " Zippers

These 26" zippers are of poor quality and very fragile. So I got these zippers because I got a lot for a little money. As opposed to $5 for a zipper at the store. Didn't think the zippers aren't very strong because I don't think I need them. I spent a lot of time sewing the zippers to the fabric and then sewing this piece into the final pillowcase. It was supposed to be Factory Seconds

I've bought hundreds of zippers from Revain but they were a bit smaller and really were the right size for me. BIG MISTAKE. Many look as if they have been thrown on the ground and trampled on - dirty, greasy. Also, they don't lie flat and you can't insert them straight. In the last 6 months I have made over 1,700 bags that our team has distributed to first responders, teachers, cancer survivors, law enforcement and key workers. Nice colors, light weight, some were damaged or missing from the packaging.

My package of zip ties has arrived. I shared them with a friend and when I looked through them, one color was missing and the other zipper wasn't used. It got caught on a belt or similar and has a patch of black rubber material and dirt on it. I hope the seller will replace 2 zippers. The zippers are light but should work for my purpose.
