That was exactly what I would use. The cord is very elastic, well waxed (not sticky), holds knots securely and twists. would recommend.

This cable is a little thinner than I expected but seems to work. Next time I'll try to find something thicker to make it easier to work with.

I use it to whip halter ropes. this is a great product for that. The yarn adheres very well to itself and is easy to work with. but it doesn't leave a waxy or sticky feel on hands. great product that I highly recommend.

I used this thread to attach rubber spearheads to bamboo sticks for use in Taijiquan for the "Pear Blossom" spear form. The cord had good strength as I coiled it very tightly and waxing held it together while I prepared the tape to cover the area. I am very happy with it.

Splicing fishing line for boat friends. I always weave near the crossing. This chalk line will be excellent. I just wish it was a little thicker. However, it will do the trick. I use whips to tighten the joint area, so a thicker size is probably easier to work with.

I purchased this waxed cord for a project connecting a wicker basket to a stand. The yarn is generously waxed, works well and will stick to itself with multiple wraps. This is done for a secure hold that stays tight and together with the wax. This is an excellent line and I will find many other uses for it. Good buy!
