The gel didn't have the effect it was supposed to on my natural curls and the edge control left white deposits on my edges. It smells amazing though.

I literally hate this product! Okay, about the smell, it smells a bit odd, but it's not bad or harsh, just different. My hair type is pretty weird because it depends on whether I have front or back hair. Each part of my hair has a different texture. So, my hair is 3c-4b, the hair gel should give my hair a weighted curl and strong hold, but no way! It smelled more and honestly it didn't frizz or hold my hair anymore. When the product arrived the seal on this item was half broken. The finished gel was supposed to be transparent and separate from the yellow hair gel, but since the filling was not securely fixed, the products mixed together during transport. A significant amount of product was also missing on both sides so it's likely someone used it and returned it before it was sent to me, even though I paid for a new unopened pack of this product.

Product works well. Holds my curls well enough. Makes a typical gel and leaves the hair a little crunchy. Two stars deducted due to the way the product arrived. I think they have some manufacturing issues. The Amazon box was in perfect condition but the product itself was not sealed properly. The gel has leaked out of the seal. The gel appears to permeate the applied paper seal. So I lost quite a bit of product and it took me a while to get it clean again. It was hard to show how much gel was…

Seems to work very well on my hair but I am giving a low rating because my product has been opened. Looks like the lid was damaged and someone covered it with plastic. Since the lid was open, the rim gel mixed with the hair gel and both sides were discolored. I still use it because I spent so much money on it, but I have no plans to buy it again unless I'm sure I'll get a working product next time.
