No installation at the moment

I'm not sure if this is my problem, I installed it and didn't see any difference from the old one as I didn't have time to return it , me - me, me Just take what I've lost and keep it to myself.

Cheap Part - Engine Parts

This product was installed as a replacement for the original to fix code p2016. After installing and removing the old code, everything was fine for about 2-3 days. After that, the new part called the p2017 code, which is basically the same as the previous code. The part was defective so I went and bought an OEM. I think I can get that for the cheap price lol but it's better to buy a branded or OEM part with a guarantee.

Good part now trust Jeep

Good product and took care of my error code p2017. My Patriot had a red flash and a rough idle while driving. As I had already replaced the throttle body 3 months ago I figured that would be next. After switching to this new part and driving to my daughters school, work and back home, I feel safe in the jeep again. The rough idle was gone after a reboot and a few days of commuting.

Failed out of box

I received the item immediately after ordering and it corresponded to the description and the picture. This article did not work immediately. The actuator moves less than 1/2 inch when power is applied. Replacing one of these parts takes about 30 minutes - not particularly difficult, even for a non-car owner like me. Life has prevented me from initiating a return within the allowed 30 day window, so I can't speak to customer service's response to returns.

Beware of defective engine parts

This part stopped working intermittently causing the car to run rough Just to work and work for days or months and then stop again. Finally the mechanic found this defective part. Amazon wanted to charge a restocking fee for a refund or send a free replacement. I didn't want a replacement due to reliability issues (poor quality part) but didn't think the warranty restocking fee for a defective part was fair. Shame on Amozon as it took 8 months for the mechanic to determine it was bad and yet…
