The first time I used "sweet pink" it broke in half. I was dying to love these different colored pencils after reading 3 positive reviews. I paint adult coloring books to use in place of store bought greeting cards and people love that I think about them so much. I had to press really hard to get color onto the page and at first I thought maybe they should be lighter (my regular colored pencils put more color on the paper!). Do you think they could be old?

These crayons are so thin and flimsy. My 2 year old broke each one in minutes just to draw a picture. My husband came home, saw them, took a piece and tried to draw with it, but it broke in half again! The only reason I'm giving a second star is simply because the colors are so pleasing. But it's definitely better for older kids or adults who are aware of how fragile they can be.

Arrived unpacked but not broken. They color very smoothly and most of them are quite opaque. There were almost no marks on the paper, and when I ran my hand over the overpainted areas, I had a hard time distinguishing colored bits from blank areas. Three of the crayons broke the first time I used them, so I doubt the structural integrity and durability of the crayons.
