Unreliable Electronics for Marine Vessels

Based on our own experience, this product is not worth the investment. We encountered multiple technical issues that hindered our navigation. The only positive aspect was the convenience of having a compact device; however this was overshadowed by the lack of reliability.Save yourself the headache and invest in a more trustworthy product..

Pros
  • Compact
Cons
  • Unreliable Electronics

Fantastic digital chart for Florida boaters

i recently purchased a digital chart for Florida waters and couldn't be HAPPIER with my experience. Through trial and error I found that the Maptech CGFL 05 Embassy Cruising Florida chart was the most reliable and user-friendly option. The clear and detailed graphics make navigating the coastline a breeze .The electronic format allows for easy updates and customization. The only con is the initial cost, but the long-term value is worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this product for any boater

Pros
  • Comprehensive and detailed boating map for Florida
Cons
  • Has limited coverage and only includes information for boaters in Florida

sometimes a bit confusing

Maps are not always linked correctly, which can be a bit confusing at times. Also, the maps don't cover as much as expected. Some important areas are cut off. They're trying to cover too much of Florida at once. They should split it into three separate books with a more detailed map and details. There's no reason to have a Florida pan book handy when I'm in St. Augustine.
