The material is not very thick but does not wobble and stands well when assembled correctly. Holds LOTS of pens/pencils/markers. However, if you want a better system of organization (by color and by individual), I'd recommend the perfect Crafter's Companion pen storage instead. By the way, no one is paying me to write this. It's just a matter of preference. This organizer takes up very little space and does its job well. Just note that you have options for storing writing and painting supplies.

This product requires assembly and I have found it difficult. The instructions appear to be translated into English and the photos in the instructions do not help with screw placement. The screws are screwed into holes ONLY, although the first step of the instructions shows that they are screwed directly into the wood. At first I was reluctant to buy this, mainly for fear of size issues. As soon as I received it and my son and I set it up, I immediately ordered a second one.
