🌡️ Enhance Temperature Monitoring with the Marina ThermoSensor In-Out Thermometer Review

I have 2 of these in the same tank and they show about a 1.5 degree difference. I believe this is within "the error" for an $8 product. Not perfect, but acceptable. Also, how do we know that traditional glass thermometers are more accurate?

These are good thermometers and very reasonably priced. They seem accurate, but nothing special. Unlike mercury thermometers, they require a battery, which is included. What happens when the battery dies and the readings become inaccurate? That's the question I've started asking myself.

I've had this for a few months now and it's been working well so far. I have a temporary pistol that I used to check the reading it gave me. They were a good match. Between the price and the accuracy, it's worth it. I use it to read temperatures between eggshells, so a temporary gun won't work for this application.

Already bought 3 pieces. 2 worked fine, but after about a year the third's display stopped working. I thought it might be a battery problem but a new battery didn't help. You can still press the buttons and see the temperature, but it doesn't show up for long. They seem accurate enough, but I can't say exactly how. I mainly use them to monitor sudden temperature changes. My heating broke down once and I didn't realize it until it was too late.
