🐠 Betta Fish Starter Kit for Aquarium - Marina Review

I bought 2 of these. These are fun little aquariums on my desk that I can use to practice aquascaping. Not for use with fish species. I don't think this is a suitable home, even for a small female betta. The open lid design leads to a lot of water evaporation, and I intend to make a small glass lid on it in the future. I made a sponge filter on one and a small bubbler on the other. Again fun little tanks to play with and look good. Also create your own background.

I use this to breed Triops until they are big enough for my community aquarium so it's perfect for that. But. It's too small for the fish. Even though most products sold for Bettas claim they need at least 2.5 gallons, although there is some debate that 5 or even 10 is not 1 gallon, do it if you are harboring fish here, while cleaning your normal aquarium, it's awful. Arrived on time and in good condition, I use this tank to transport my betta to uni. I urge people not to buy this as a permanent home as it is very small especially once your betta is fully grown (if you get it as a child) and the small pebble container is not removable, this is part of the actual bottom of the cage is very strange (why don't you want the whole floor to be covered?).
