This turkey bait is ideal for removing waste and uneaten food from the aquarium. It really isn't long enough to reach the bottom of the standard 10-gallon, and the suction power isn't the best either. You must be careful not to spill water when you take it out of the tank to empty it. Does the job but there are better aquarium cleaning tools out there.

This really helps to keep the fish tank clean between cleanings. My daughter uses this often with her two beta fish. I asked how it works and she said it's good for keeping the tank clean but might leak a little. She said it takes time to get used to how to use it. Overall I think the fish are much happier. Your water hasn't been cloudy since this got here!

For those of you who are familiar with the turkey cracker and how it spits out liquid, this product is not! 5 stars because it can remove debris from the gravel, quickly remove water from the tank without disturbing the fish, easy to clean (dishwasher safe so a plus in my book!). This is a simple concept that has always been around and what it is meant for.

Basically a little turkey spatula. Although it has measurement marks protruding from the outside. My biggest complaint is that it's plastic and not glass. For almost $10 I expected it to be glass. for a while. I find them handy, but they're by no means a permanent solution - expect them to break and/or be phased out at some point. The reason I keep buying them is because I find them to help with betta aquarium maintenance and they're fairly easy to use - they suck up litter and dirt that collects in the gravel at the bottom of the tank, sometimes also vacuum up gravel. I try to be patient when using this product so it will last longer and I would recommend it.

This makes cleaning the aquarium much easier! He's sucking the nasty poo out of my fish, Simba. But of course there are things I don't like about it. I removed the first star because the hole that sucks the water in is so big that it just falls back down when sucking. My tank is small so it's easier for me to quickly pull it out before it's just about sucked in, but it's still annoying and frustrating. I removed the other star because the gravel gets stuck in the pipe so much and it's annoying.
