The bio wheel worked as described in combination with the cartridge, the aquarium has remained nice and clean ever since.

Ned changes this wheel about once a year. The goldfish is over 5 years old and we will continue to run the 3 gallon aquarium on his behalf.

Couldn't find the Bio-Rad in local stores. So I searched the internet and found the ones I ordered. Excellent price. Send fast. Ordered extra to have handy. Keep it up.

I bought this to replace my current bio wheel which stopped spinning after about a year and a half. However, it doesn't rotate either, so the problem must lie elsewhere.

I needed to replace my aquarium and the local pet stores didn't have one. I ordered it and Amazon shipped it via UPS. Needless to say it arrived crushed in a million pieces as it is plastic. Although I received a refund it was the last in stock at the time of ordering. The article is great but I have told Revain to make sure plastic items are shipped in a crate and not a bubble mailbox where they get crushed.

I see signs of fish disease, I separate it into another bowl and treat it with whatever product the fish shop experts recommend me, but how can I judge the effectiveness of the organic wheel product or any water filtration component in the aquarium is beyond me. All we are supposed to replace regularly is the water filter cartridge. Therefore, as a precaution, I replaced the wheel after years of use.
