Useful and durable
I see signs of fish disease, I separate it into another bowl and treat it with whatever product the fish shop experts recommend me, but how can I judge the effectiveness of the organic wheel product or any water filtration component in the aquarium is beyond me. All we are supposed to replace regularly is the water filter cartridge. Therefore, as a precaution, I replaced the wheel after years of use. I think I should say that it served us (and of course the fish) well! I can say this: none of the fish was ever on the surface of the aquarium as if gasping for air, so the system worked right?
