Since adding this filter with these filament attachments my aquarium has never been cleaner. The extra filter increases the time between media changes in my other filter, and they're pretty inexpensive.

Affordable and works well. I use them in a turtle tank - turtles are pretty messy. This filter serves and purifies the water. For the price and the many filters I could not be happier with the purchase!

I don't use them anymore but they work. I had 3 in a 125 gallon tank. To clean and replace, you need to take the entire filter out of the water, drain it, clean it, and replace it. It's a lot of work so I stopped using it. Might be good for 55 gallons.

They work great initially but don't last for 2-3 cleanings. I have to clean them once a week as they often get dirty. I use these pods in my 40 gallon aquarium with a Marineland internal filter that can be used up to 90 gallons. Tank.

Sleeves are fine. I have a problem with the MarineLand filtration system itself. We have had an aquarium for about 15 years and have never had algae. Unfortunately, since we installed the new system, we have had to completely drain and clean everything about 3 times in the last few months. I'm not pointing fingers or trying to insult the company, but otherwise nothing has changed at the aquarium. Any ideas what could be causing this? I welcome any ideas you can give me. Thanks Teresa
