Very fast delivery!

This is a vinyl tube that says nothing other than being easy to cut, has nice smooth edges and is flexible enough to fit a few extras into the limited space after a canister filter fit my aquarium. stand without bending down. Shipping was ridiculously fast

Pros
  • Aquarium Pumps & Filters
Cons
  • Makes Me Nervous

I have two stacked 45 gallon tanks. Although my Marineland filter for the top tank is on the ground, it should be on the side, not directly below. The uniform length hoses that came with my filter didn't allow this, so I was able to purchase longer hoses to cut the hoses to non-uniform custom lengths. Heating the hose ends with a hair dryer helps a lot when connecting to the filter nozzles.

Pros
  • fish and aquatic creatures
Cons
  • too blunt

Good Quality Hose

I tried the hoses from the hardware store and found them to be very stiff and not flexible at all. This hose is very good - stiff enough to avoid kinks, yet flexible enough that I can connect it to a canister filter and an inlet/outlet in a tank. I can confirm that this is the correct size for a direct swap (5/8 ID) of the FLUVAL 107 and 207 canister filters. These two models have the same connections. If you need to replace the plastic tubing that came with the FLUVAL 107/207, you can use this

Pros
  • Filter Accessory
Cons
  • Out of fashion
