Very satisfied Antennas

There are no problems with these springs. I was driving my UTV through the woods and my headlights hit the trees and the springs are holding up well.

Pros
  • New to my collection

Exactly as they say!

Only 1 star for durability as I haven't used it for a while. Find out for next year! Otherwise it seems sturdy, easy to install, just what I wanted.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Zero

Enough flex for a 36 " antenna

Just installed today so that's first impressions: My 1999 Wrangler TJ has a 5" rise and my 36" lightweight FireStick Fire-Fly antenna hits over my garage door. This spring, the antenna is much easier to bend to get in and out of my garage, but is stiff enough that my antenna doesn't wobble when driving on the freeway. The tip of my FireStick is about 10 inches above the roofline. Overall I'm happy with this spring.

Pros
  • Shipped very quickly
Cons
  • Discarded

Just the right amount of flexibility for a 36” antenna

Just installed today, so here are the first impressions: My 1999 Wrangler TJ has 5" hub and my 36" FireStick Fire-Fly lightweight antenna hits the mark. my garage door. This spring the antenna is much easier to bend to get in and out of my garage, but is stiff enough to keep my antenna from dangling while driving on the freeway. The tip of my FireStick is about 10 inches above the roofline. . Overall I'm happy with this spring.

Pros
  • Wireless antennas
Cons
  • The list goes on.

He's bouncy!

Works as intended. Allows me to bend the antenna if needed for tight spaces without bending the antenna too much. I put a bracket around the antenna and attached it to the jeep to keep it upright at highway speeds. Otherwise the antenna rotates 65 degrees back 40 degrees!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

For high wind load

Make sure the spring type matches the wind load of your antenna. This is a heavily loaded spring which means small and short antennas will not bend properly. Use a light-load spring for a short 2-3 foot antenna, a medium-load spring for a 4- to 5-foot antenna, and a high-load spring for larger antennas. You may need to adjust this tip if your antenna is wider compared to a thin whip antenna, e.g. B. made of glass fiber. The extra surface increases wind load and may require you to switch from…
