Vintage Boys' Clothing: Marmot Lightweight Hooded Windbreaker Review

This is a really attractive windbreaker. It is very light but well finished, you can say that it is a quality product. It doesn't have insulation, but that's not what it's designed for. As an outer shell, it offers excellent protection against wind and light rain. Very happy with it.

Ordered boys size XL/XT for a 6th grade boy who wears a size 14-16. The jacket arrived marked XL/XT but was too small for the boy. It fitted my 2nd grade granddaughter who is over a foot below.

My son loves this jacket! It's so soft and light. It has a hood that can be rolled up and removed from the sock. It has nice deep pockets that close with a zipper. There are cuffs on the wrists. It's so soft and light that he doesn't even mind wearing it. It is waterproof to boot. This is a great jacket for fall or winter. It will definitely get a lot of wear and tear. Love it!

After ordering a size larger due to chest tightness, I am very satisfied. The jacket is incredibly soft and very comfortable for my grandson! The material is very light, you can easily carry it in your backpack to school! Beautiful, versatile design!

This is my son's second jacket (my daughter also has a second one). We love this jacket. This is the best 3 season hiking jacket. It takes so long to wear out and the only reason we chose the second one is because she raised hers and he lost his. I will buy them until they stop making them long. A great wind jacket that is worth the money! The outer material has a luxurious feel and is water-repellent to protect against light rain. The sweatshirt provides extra warmth and head protection. The size is good. The jacket has a thin fleece lining, which is good as the nylon doesn't stick to the skin, allowing for breathability and some warmth. It is very easy to pack and easy to close. The material is very flexible - not stiff or "wrinkled" like many nylon raincoats. While not 100% waterproof, it will perform better than most other cheaper models or brands.

This hooded jacket is amazing. I love the Marmot brand so I shouldn't be surprised at the quality but I am very happy with the fit, colour, cut, stitching and overall feel. My son has autism and textures are very important and the feel of this jacket is soft. I highly recommend. The Marmot fit tends to be snug so the fit is as expected but if you are unfamiliar with the brand this is something to keep in mind.

The light Marmot Ether wind jacket lives up to its name. This jacket doesn't let the wind in and folds up very easily for easy portability.
