Review on Vintage Boys' Clothing: Marmot Lightweight Hooded Windbreaker by Ronnie Dabolt

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very compact and practical option for active kids!

Full Disclosure - I ordered a large one for my son and requested one for myself. I can't help it, it's super cute and such a good weight for Southern California! Anyway, he was too big for my son, so I'll just keep him company until he's ready. :) I'm 5ft 5in and 110lbs. This is good quality. I've worn it running and it gives and stretches more than I expected. I even put it in my belt pouch - it's incredibly compact. stretchy wrists - they're snug enough to stay in place, but give just enough for layering or up to the elbows. I really like this jacket. I don't think it's as breathable as the description makes it appear, but it's not bad. I think it's a little overpriced. Sixty dollars for a kid's windbreaker is hard to justify. Forty seems better to me. But if that's the range you're looking for, I think you'll be happy. It also washes well!

Pros
  • Fits perfectly, very warm and soft.
Cons
  • May not provide enough warmth for colder weather or extreme temperatures
