I saw these at West Elm and didn't want to spend over $200 each as I bought 2. I bought the pads from Hobby Lobby and Michael's. Probably used 10-12 pounds of fiberfill. They are amazing! I'm deducting a star because the smell is sometimes strong. Then I ask my husband to put it outside to air. I can't wait for the smell to go away completely.

I received this to replace another leather stool from Morocco which has finally cracked after almost 10 years of heavy use (I think kids jump on it regularly). I was delighted to find that the same high quality stool was less than 1/3 the price of my original stool and expect it to last quite a while. Rather disappointed in the color Mine arrived much later than promised and is MUCH darker than pictured, like a deep chocolate brown mahogany. The picture on the website and even the brochure they sent in the package with the item is a warm rose gold color and what I received is totally different from that. Received my stool today. Estimated delivery time should take another 3 days but it was delivered earlier which is a plus. The stool itself is leather, good quality and yes it does have a leather smell but not strong at all. You have to get your nose really close, about an inch, to smell it.
