Lol easy to install 😂 this is the hardest ice spike to install on the planet. The adapter they give you is too thick and doesn't work. I used a vise and got about 10 in each shoe. Short morning walk with the dog and I have 7 in one boot and 8 in the other.

My old lawn mower tires are badly worn, the mower has seen better days and I couldn't justify buying new and expensive tires for my old mower. I just put little lugs in my old all plastic tires and now it's like 4WD and no it doesn't tear up the turf, the little lugs actually act like aerators. I used a 1/4" impact wrench and the included driver and installation was a breeze.

okay? They were very easy to install and there was a drill in each pocket. I was able to install any of them in a few seconds. They seemed to work fine when first installed. Poorly. they didn't last very long. After only 200 miles in snow, ice and drought, about half of the tips broke off. This is my first experience with spikes so I don't know if this is normal.

Sounds like a good idea to do it myself, I'm pretty handy. I took measurements and found that 12mm would fit, but not for a small car. I went ahead and installed them, they stick out too far and despite being threaded they don't sink into the rubber tires. Most importantly, 100 spikes do not complete a tire. This gave me about 3/4 of the tire's full circumference, and no, I didn't go crazy putting a stud every inch or so. I spread them out evenly like a shop would. Could it be good for shoes?

Put this on my Fat Bike/Snow Bike because I don't want to be the source of a good laugh when my bike throws me on the ice in front of 12 guys. They are amazing! Each bag had an outlet to power it. I used my grinding wheel to shave about 3/16 of the socket surface. If you drive them with an outlet, the outlet will bite into the tire. You either drive it halfway in with a socket, then tighten it with pliers, or sand down the front of the socket. The spikes themselves are the perfect size (9mm)…

I used cleats to add some grip to my Worx Landroid. So far they have held up well and performed better than I expected. There is no corrosion and nobody is missing. It took me 102 to complete the task and only had 92 in the package. I would have been fine with leaving a few buttons with only one pin, but was disappointed that so many shorted them out. The tool was really helpful except the magnet inside came out after only a few were installed. It is impossible to defeat them all.

Waste of money! Although the screws appear to be good, you cannot install them without the installation tool. It's ON BUT NOT WORKING. It's too big for screws. Instead of sliding smoothly in the tires, they spin in a furious circle at the end of the drill, scraping the pieces of rubber but not penetrating them at all. Due to the design of the screw head, it's almost impossible to find anything that works with these screws outside of the provided junk. I 100% regret buying these spikes.

Well, my winter tires have 50 holes. on each side (inside outside). Nowhere on the tire is it written how many studs you need. Nowhere does this product give an estimate of how much you need for a tire (of course every tire is different, but to say that a 26" tire needs around 70 studs is a useful estimate.
