There are no flats or hexes on the body to tighten with a wrench.

Works well once fitted. But the old part that was replaced had flats on the body to allow it to be tightened with a suitable wrench. This forces you to resort to pliers that can damage the case.

Article like new Article for pressure regulator and accessories

Like new. In fact, I hope better than new. The original was in my trailer tent and lasted about 5 years before leaking. I hope to live longer with this one. Everything was as advertised. Perfect fit for my application. It's been a few months and so far so good.

Eliminates it after the 3rd error.

Started leaking after 1 season. I ruled it out because the code requires less pressure on the long line from the RV to the main regulator. That's why the main controller doesn't have it on the tank. This was my 3rd one. Don't buy another piece of junk. My RV and I will not push this line while driving. I think it fails due to the accumulated moisture inside in the winter when the camper is not in use.

This controller sucks.

I installed this on the opposite side of the auto shift regulator on my fifth wheel to replace the factory regulator that was leaking. It worked 2/3 of a 30 lb propane tank and then shut off completely. I mean he stopped running propane altogether. I removed and bypassed it to go straight to another controller and everything works fine. If I could give a minus star here, I would. Sending back means paying the shipping cost.

  • Pressure Regulator
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Ideal for 5th wheel.

Beware of other brands of propane regulators. The propane area on the driver's side of our 5th wheel smelled like propane. When I checked for a leak, I found that the regulator that came with the RV was leaking propane. To stop the leak and save propane I bought several other units. The CAMCO regulators either didn't seal the prop lines well or were leaking themselves even though they were brand new. Although this device didn't fit into my initial search for the Revain, after two unsuccessful…
