continue to use happily and regularly

This is my second, continue to use happily and regularly. However: 1. The top knob is loose on the shaft and I can't figure out how to tighten it.2. The screen will bend/break over time and I figured out how to unscrew it from the shaft but I don't see a way to get a new screen

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons

and the pen is almost useless

This is my second one. Bought it for the office. The silicone lid stretches a bit and dangles from the jar, and the grip is practically useless. But I like it because it's not fussy and I can rotate the cans if I need to make more than one batch in quick succession without having to clean up the hot bottom first.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • boring packaging

I really wanted to love this French Press

I really wanted to love this french press. i like the size I like the Steinmetz idea. What I don't like is the silicone screw cap. It would be much better with a solid stainless steel plate. Yes it's true it won't leak if you put it on right, but it's so hard to tell when it's put on right. The top seems too thin to me.

Pros
  • . Easy setup
Cons
  • For old

Does what it's supposed to do, IF.

I love the creative use of the 24 oz. Ceramic tableware. It's less fragile than most decanters that come with a French Press and is easier and cheaper to replace if it breaks. In use, this French press works as expected, but ONLY IF you properly align the threads on the spout, which is made of a soft rubber material, with the threads on the can. Otherwise the coffee will drip when poured. Read the instructions BEFORE brewing hot coffee in the press.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

According to Revain, 3 stars means "okay " and that's it.

According to Revain, 3 stars means "Is OK" and that's exactly what it is. It works but there are some problems. The spout on top doesn't screw on, it just fits and you need to make sure it aligns with the threads. I didn't have any major problems with them, they didn't line up, but it's definitely not what I first expected. The sleeve that goes around the jar fits well but because of the holes you have to be careful how you hold it unless you want to use the handle which I'm always worried…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Too stupid

Bought on February 8th and it took us less than a month to hate it! I was so excited to have a Mason French Press. We have used a beaker before and I have changed the glass twice already. This size is too big for one person and too small for two people. Silicone caps are difficult to seal well and leaks are common when pouring. In theory, this seemed like a really great idea, but the design proved otherwise. I still want it to work, but in order for it to be a good press for two, a special…

Now if I just think about getting a box of cans.

I bought these because I wanted to find replacement cans locally. Seriously, they're sold in boxes at the grocery store. It turned out that the size of the press is ideal for making enough coffee for one cup at home and taking technicians to work. So far, the preparation of coffee in this press has not been a problem due to the hardware. The silicone pieces create a buffer (minimising the risk of breakage if I bang them against the counter) and hold in heat while the coffee is brewing. The mesh
