This is not a milky glass. Frosted glass should be removed from the description. The item was painted blue and was not secured in the box so the paint was chipped and part of the handle was broken. To return.

When the item arrived the paint chips were gone. This was due to the bad packaging. More color came off just from treatment within a week. Not a fan at all. I didn't ask for a replacement because it's clearly an issue with the color of the product and going back and forth would be a waste of time.

Growing up in the early 50's I remember my grandma always having big square green milkshakers on her stove top! My wife has a blue motif for our kitchen so I ordered this set out of nostalgia. .However, when I unscrewed the lid, I discovered that the threaded neck was clear glass! They're still cute, functional, and have that "antique" look that suits our country home.
