PERFECT for tiles! Best in Electric Drill Parts & Accessories

These masonry drill bits were bought as a last try for drilling tile and I hit the nail on the head! I used another brand of masonry drill bits for drilling tile and it took a very long and tedious job to use these drill bits. I was shocked when the holes were made in under a minute. Thank you for the best drill bits I have ever used. You are worth the $$!

Terrible drill - at least for me.

Now I know why masonry drills haven't changed in fifty years, maybe even longer. They work. These pieces looked interesting, so I tried them out. It turned out that the boring old-school 1/4" double-tipped bit drilled through the cement block four times faster than either of the 1/4" masonry bits in this set. I can't even picture myself trying to drill through hard concrete with these bits. We strongly recommend that you purchase a set of two carbide burs.

Good Bits for Masonry/Tile

Good Bits for Masonry. After installing two sets of glass shower doors, I found that the tiles were too stiff for the standard pieces and it was impossible to get them to work before they collapsed. I needed an arrow club so I tried them. Here's a very pleasant surprise. They crashed straight into the permanent and traveled through it. No problem. Good clean holes, no chips and travel. Great prices/selection. I did not damage the first part at all and installed both sets of doors. Destroyed 6…

Holds up better than expected at this price

I purchased these bits to install two sets of frameless shower enclosures that required drilling of ceramic tile (NOT porcelain). I didn't expect them to last forever, but the 3/16" drill bit kept cutting throughout the project - about 30 holes. You'll need to cool the drill bit while drilling, but that's pretty normal. I used both bits provided during installation and believe they still have life in them. Also, I have the full balance of the set which is unused at the moment, which I think is…

I usually pay between $7 and $10 a piece in a big store.

I work a lot with tiles. Lots of showers and bathrooms. I'm tired of sometimes spending up to $40 on tile drill bits to set fasteners in the wet areas of these projects. Just a glass shower door needs 8 screw holes in the tile to hold it in place. The drill bits I bought from big stores would do for maybe 2-3 holes and then I would have to use another one. These beats I bought here were 10 for the price of one at Menards. The first bit I used was enough for all 12 holes I needed in my last…
