Don't expect this to work with any grout

Looks like a good product but didn't work for what I was trying to do - pouring a decomposed granite slurry with hardener into pavers.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Negative

Not worth the money!

Must have been designed by a cake decorator! First he squeezed all the water out and I had a dry solution that didn't seep through the hole no matter how hard you squeezed!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • A few little things

Easy to use and very neat!

This was the first time I used a pocket to point to my brick staircase. I did most of this with a trowel and a tool to indent the grout before showing. I am convinced that you need a solution bag!

Pros
  • Multiple Competitors
Cons
  • Frequency

Great grout applicator, love it

They really come in handy for applying grout neatly in those hard to reach places. You can shorten the nozzle to increase the size of the hole. I used to apply high strength cement with fine gravel to the horizontal gap under the slab. It worked well.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Hard to say

One job was not enough

I liked that the tip turned out to be strong, but after 10 minutes of using the bag, the side burst. We wet the bags then poured the solution in and when I squeezed the bag I noticed it flexed more than our usual ones. After a while, the outer layer began to peel off, and then the whole page burst. That happened two out of three, so I went back to our regular bags that I buy from Lowe.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Repair

In the reviews that the bag tears easily, probably because the hole is too small or the mix is too thick. I was squeezing the package like crazy, trying to get things out on the first try. If the grout is too thick and the hole is too small, it won't come out at all. Your engine will need to be a little thinner than normal to get it out, but it will come out very easily. In fact, it's too easy if you cut the hole larger like I originally did to make up for the extra thickness of my first joint…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Great for bit mortar

We lay 2000 sq.m. meters of flagstone floor, so we have to grout a lot of joints. We bought these packs after a friend recommended using them instead of the scoop and pour approach. Not only are these bags quicker and easier to use, but they require less filling than scooping and less cleaning (which is time-consuming and can be tricky if the solution settles after a few minutes). Cut off the tip (we completely cut off the supporting blue tip) as we needed a hole large enough for the solution…

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive
