Review on 🧱 Tile Grout Masonry Mortar Bag - Heavy Duty 12x24 inch, Tear Resistant & Puncture Tip Cement Sealer Bag (3-Pack, Blue) by Matthew Maggot

Great for bit mortar

We lay 2000 sq.m. meters of flagstone floor, so we have to grout a lot of joints. We bought these packs after a friend recommended using them instead of the scoop and pour approach. Not only are these bags quicker and easier to use, but they require less filling than scooping and less cleaning (which is time-consuming and can be tricky if the solution settles after a few minutes). Cut off the tip (we completely cut off the supporting blue tip) as we needed a hole large enough for the solution to flow. It took us a few tries to figure out a way to use the pouch - but pinching the end and letting the solution out in small batches worked well. Inserting the dispensing end directly into the joint also allows the solution to rise from the bottom up, creating a nicer effect at the top than pouring straight from the top. . The blue tip is a bit stiff but can be very useful for different grouts or thinner joints. We did about 1000 square feet with just one recycled bag and it's still in great condition so it'll probably last us until the job is done. It also rinses pretty clean. One modification I could make would be to cut some finger holes/slits at the very top to help hold/grip the bag from above. When gloves are on (and the solution is dispensed for several hours), the hand holding the bag atop can get quite tired (although we're pouring about 2.5 gallons of solution each time).
