    I was skeptical about this compound as I have always used very strong chemicals like Berryman Carburetor Cleaner for all my cleaning jobs. I was very happy with the results and even more pleased that my rubber parts, which I usually leave in carburetors (accidentally), don't grow to 10x their normal size. any deformation and it removes all dirt and oil. Cleaning the solution is easy too, I just run the edge of a paper towel over the surface of the solution to remove any residual oil.

    Works well in my Ultrasonic Cleaner

    I don't know what it is but it should have a high pH which is what you need to remove grease and oil. There's no indication on the jar, but having bought detergents like this before, I knew I needed to dilute them. What I didn't know was how much, so it was a bit of trial and error. I've cleaned some very dirty motorcycle carburetors in my 6 quart cleaner and used about 1/4 cup (I was looking by eye so it's not exact) and it seemed to work pretty well.     This is a concentrate, do not use undiluted.

    The gallon pack does not indicate that the product is a concentrated solution and must be diluted (3-10%) before use. No instructions or information brochures were included with the product. On first use I poured a full gallon into the ultrasonic cleaner and began cleaning my Smith and Wesson revolver. After 10 minutes in the "cleaning solution" I took the gun out and noticed that much of the matte stainless steel finish had been removed. made it clear that the product is a concentrate and must
