I have recently purchased a dual hitch receiver so we can have both a cargo and bike mount on our Honda Pilot. This leads to (3) clutch connections, so I needed a different pin/lock. The other two locks I use are key locks, but I also need a universal quick lock. This is of good quality and allows for very quick connection/disconnection.

I needed a 1/2" clutch pin and didn't want the knuckle-destroying clip end pins anymore. Everyone sells 5/8" and some won't tell you - you're just taking a chance. With this pin there's no doubt. If you remove the 5/8" jack, what's left? Too bad it's such nonsense to find a 1/2 inch socket. I have a good collection of 5/8" clutch pins that I can't use. But now I have a 1/2 inch jack like I always wanted. So far this has worked very well, not turning off without the toggle switch and not ruining

This clutch pin is simply amazing. No need to fiddle with a separate clip to secure the clutch pin. Simply pull out the end and rotate 90 degrees to secure the clutch pin. The socket accepts 5/8" hitch pins. Use some hot glue (or other glue) to attach the socket if you have 5/8" requirements. You'll love the convenience of this hitch.

I really like this pen. I bought it for a dump truck with a tilt hitch. The pin should be 5/8 pin long but 1/2 pin diameter. This clutch pin is perfect for the job. I usually prefer lockable clutch pins, but this was just a pin for a swivel. The small locking mechanism holds the stylus well, but don't expect it to be a security lock. I can easily slide the lock and remove the pin even with heavy gloves.

A friend bought me one of these pins a few years ago and I damaged it badly when it hit a rock. I was able to keep working until a week ago. I was very happy Finding a duplicate because it fits my little pendant perfectly - right length, right diameter, I had to buy a 1/2" washer (first time) to slide it all the way to the bottom of the "ears". to keep them in place.I bought two pins this time so if I mess up again I have a spare.

I thought it was the coded hitch locking pin. I was wrong. I read the words "lock" and assumed the socket (shown in the picture) was some kind of hex key or something. After receiving the goods, I realized my mistake. The sleeve increases the pin size from 1/2" to 5/8" to fit almost any class receiver (I don't vouch for a Class V receiver, but definitely up to a Class IV receiver). That aside the quality and construction of this pen is very solid and it does exactly what it's supposed to do…
