Master Mounts Locking Lockable Articulates Review

I installed it in my caravan. I liked almost everything about this device except one. It's further from the wall than I expected. maybe 2cm. I made a strap to securely attach the TV to the wall. I put a 32 inch TV on it. It might be ok without a strap, but for my comfort I wanted it with a strap.

We installed this in the bedroom of our RV and it glides and turns very well. However, we bought it because it needs to block. There was once. Then the spring block that locks the lock no longer works. I didn't want to take it off and put it back on, so I use a small string on my back to hold my arm in place while I pull.

It is said to be universal for TVs up to 40 inches. Unless the TV mounting screws are wider than the 4x4 plate. Had to buy a cheap 2nd mount for longer mounting arms. I also had to use a drill to enlarge the holes so the included screws would fit. It took a lot more effort than it should have. When the TV is on, it works as intended.

Works exactly as it should. The joints are a little tight so it's difficult to adjust, but I think that's a good thing as they don't move too easily. If you move the entire back there is a small pin that secures your TV in place. If you want to move it, pull the chain and pull out the TV. It hasn't moved while driving, the lock holds normally. I use it on a 28" Samsung.

Things we like: Easy installation. Hardware is logically boxed and well labeled. Holds the TV well. Easy to manoeuvre. Locking mechanism and chain for easy release. We installed this mount in our RV which has thin walls and a thin mounting plate. For this reason we bought shorter mounting screws, but this is just an indication and in no way detracts from our positive feedback on this mount. Highly recommended.

The lock holds up great when traveling. The TV in the van is full of variables. This bracket has convinced my app. I highly recommend them! I returned the other 4. Can't beat Revain!

That's what I expected, full freedom of movement and it locks into place to move the camper. The problem is that while the instructions are adequate, they don't tell you that the mount will be higher once the TV is installed. So make sure you measure everything before installing. If it was just against a flat wall it might not matter as much, but we had a built-in area with closet doors at the top and side, so if you were a few inches off you were in trouble.

Absolutely perfect fit for my almost new 31ft RV. Today I upgraded to a 32 inch TCL/Roku TV which is super light with amazing picture quality AND is Wi-Fi enabled with all free and paid streaming channels built into the main menu. I'm a Revain Prime and Netflix subscriber, so everything is fine with the Wi-Fi Booster already installed. NOW the assembly? PERFECT! How far it stretches and offers a full range of motion, I WILL NOT GET LOCKED IN A SITTING POSITION ANY MORE!
