🌡️ Maverick RediFork Pro Quick Read LCD Matrix Thermometer Review

You have to look at the display at a right angle. When tilted, the display is not very clear. Also, the display backlight turns off quickly in less than 15 seconds. Just two buttons which are a bit confusing. I bought a thermometer at Ikea for $6. The results were amazing. Yes, in the end they both read the same, but IKEA is much faster. This is a very slow reacting thermometer.

I've bought a lot of so-called quick-to-read thermometers. By my standards, Maverick is the only true rapid read. Others I've tried take 2 to 3 minutes to read (Maverick takes 10 to 15 seconds) which means your food is already getting cold. All I can say is that this is one of the best in my personal opinion. Some reviews say it's hard to read, that's not entirely true. Even if it were, I'd rather use the real Rapid Read, Maverick.

I've had this Maverick RediFork since January 2013 and love it. I've used it on beef, pork, and chicken with great success. I've also used it on Brats. This thing is amazing. Growing up, my dad used to grill chicken breasts because he just overcooked them, so I hated grilled chicken. I have used the previous version of this RediFork for many years (5 years to be exact) and it was amazing, accurate and worked perfectly.
