This dog door works great. It allows dogs to get in and out, but keeps leaves and cats out. They no longer have to keep opening the screen door in front of them.

I have installed these and the magnets are very strong and hold the doors firmly against the weather. Although my dogs have used the dog flap before, they were a bit hesitant at first because of the strong magnets, but with practice they figured it out and are using it.

I used to have a dog door that screwed itself in and didn't require glue. When I got this it was difficult to install because the front and back don't slide into each other easily and then you have to glue it and install screws around the inside of the dog door itself.

We have had several dog doors over the years - none compares to this one - it is very well made - we already had a dog door so this was fairly easy to install. We live in upstate New York near the Canadian border, the double doors close really well on our dogs and keep out the cold!

I had no problems installing it. From receiving the tools to installing it took about an hour. My dog loves using it after figuring out how to do it. It's gotten a lot easier for us. I like the panel you can slide to stay closed until the only issue I have is the flaps are a bit longer so they stick out in the middle and don't make a good seal. This dog door is a little more difficult to install than a regular dog door, but it's definitely worth it. The hardware that came with it (screws etc.) was terrible as were the instructions. But if you've installed a dog door or done manual work in the past, you don't really need it. I used my own self tapping screws and the door worked great.
