Vegetables keep slipping off - doesn't work

Zucchini needs to be cut in half to fit in the rite, then falls off when you turn the handle. Disappointed, doesn't work well. Vegetables get stuck in the blades and then shred the vegetables. I have to return this. I expected more for the price I paid and the kit doesn't even come with instructions. Comes with pictures that are useless because they don't explain anything. The box also explains nothing. Don't waste your $$.

Decent product for the price

Slicer works well and doesn't have plastic parts to come loose like other brands I've bought but it does have its own problems. The handle will sometimes unscrew during use if you are not careful. I did find a small amount of flash rust after the first use and wash which I was able to rub off and oil. This food slicer is not easy to disassemble to clean, so you need to order small cleaning brushes to get into small crevices. The suction cup doesn't work very well, but the slicer is easy to hold

Reliable, rust free and easy to use tool if used properly - instructions would be nice.

I had trouble on my first try and would like more detailed instructions. However, after taking a closer look at how the slicer works, I figured out how to properly assemble it (that is, putting that piece of metal on the screw rod with a spiral, after lubricating the rotating part), and I got from Because zucchini, yellow squash and carrots give great results. :) 1 - I love the simplicity of this slicer and how easy it is to use.
