Slicer works well and doesn't have plastic parts to come loose like other brands I've bought but it does have its own problems. The handle will sometimes unscrew during use if you are not careful. I did find a small amount of flash rust after the first use and wash which I was able to rub off and oil. This food slicer is not easy to disassemble to clean, so you need to order small cleaning brushes to get into small crevices. The suction cup doesn't work very well, but the slicer is easy to hold in your hand without turning the handle. Even with a few issues, it was a much better product than the plastic ones with multiple slicing options, and the price was much better than professional slicers.
