Some holes don't line up. Lame. I had to get my drill and a metal drill bit to fix the problem. If you don't like getting your hands dirty, I would say stay clear from this desk. If all the holes line up properly then this is easy enough to build. I built this desk using option two. Maybe option one is fine.

This product was definitely worth the price. It was easy to assemble with explicit instructions and had a right of left facing shelving.

This reminds me of good-old-days Ikea furniture. It's very sturdy and the finish is nice, honestly looks like we bought it at West Elm for 3x the price.
