I wanted to make sure I had a spare for the day my current drain filter ran out. This fine filtration keeps large amounts of hair from clogging the drains and without it I would drown. I highly recommend it. This saves plumbing costs and trouble! (Please ignore the limescale stains in my photo. I bought these to install in the drains on our van sinks. The stock RV plugs/drain siphons were too tight to clean easily and/or stopped the water when you didn't want it to. The way to keep your gray water tank free of bad odors is to keep solid food debris out of the drain. The different sizes of these dyes were also a PLUS. I used a large strainer in the kitchen and the smallest in the bathroom. I am absolutely amazed at how much dirt accumulates in the strainer of the kitchen sink. Edit 5/14/18: Noticing some reviews complaining about rust thought I'd come back and give my opinion. Had no problems with rust. I take them out of the drain every night, rinse or clean them and then let them dry. As with most things, I think it's how you take care of it that matters.
